Maria begins Dance Medicine with meditation. She guides us to be still and rest. The calming fragrance of Homa and tones from a crystal singing bowl promote inner peace . Coming out of such deep relaxation... the body, the mind and your soul are now ready to dance.

also THE DANCE BRINGER. A Fulbright scholar in dance, she has studied, taught and performed for
more than forty years. With a lengthy background in cultural dances, world music, dance therapy, Yoga,
meditation and Homa therapy, she brings unique, well structured sessions that stimulate Dance Medicine
in everyone, from Johns Hopkins University to Kripalu Center for Yoga, in schools, hospitals and prisons,

sarongs to wrap around hips, she entices each person to dance with full-bodied freedom. Formerly a TV

Medicine workshop for women, men or children and for teachers as a part of professional development.
It is available as a single event or as a series, in a corporate, clinical, classroom, studio or retreat setting.
